The Pre-Counseling for students by the Central Board of Secondary Education has kick started today, i.e. 1 February 2013.
The counseling is scheduled to stretch up to 17 April 2013. Only until few days back, the help lines were not functioning and worries students were given a date when the lines would be functional.
It is interesting to the note that it is the 16th consecutive year that the Board will provide psychological counseling services to all the board aspirants to overcome all the exam related stress and other issues.
The CBSE tele counseling is the ideal way for students to get over with all their issues and gear themselves for the examinations in a healthy way.
The counseling program has been designed keeping the heterogeneity of students’ population and geographical spread in mind.
Around sixty six Principals, trained counselors from CBSE affiliated government and private schools and few psychologist will be taking part in the Tele-Counseling and address exam related psychological problems of the students.
CBSE has also arranged counseling to specially-abled children apart from other things.
CBSE experts will be answering queries of students through weekly question answer columns that would be published in national newspapers during the month of February 2013.
