Punjab Remote Sensing Centre Notified for Walk-in-interview to Various Posts 2013

Punjab Remote Sensing Centre invited application for recruitment to the post of Research fellow, Junior Research Fellow, Field Assistant, Technical Assistant Clerk and AAO. The candidates eligible for the post can attend walk-in interviews between 5 September 2013 to 10 September 2013.

Age Limit

•  Candidate’s age must be between 18-35 years for Category 1 to 3.
• Candidate’s age must be between 18-37 years for Category 4 for fresher and upto 63 years for in-service and retirees.

Educational Qualifications

LRU&I Division                                    

• Research Fellow (RF):  Master’s degree in Geoinformatics/Remote Sensing/Computer Science/Geography/Civil Engineering/Urban Planning and Architecture with at least 1 year working experience in the field of RS/GIS.
• Field Assistant (FA): Diploma holder/ITI preferably Civil/Architecture/Surveying background or Graduate in any field.

ACM Division

• Research Fellow (RF): M.Sc in Soil/Agronomy/Chemistry/Geography/Environmental Science/Geoinformatics/Remote Sensing and GIS with minimum OGPA of 3.40/4.00 basis or OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis 65% marks.
• Jr. Research Fellow (JRF):  Graduation along with PG Diploma in RS & GISOR Masters in Soil /Agronomy/Chemistry / Geography /Environmental Science/Geoinformatics/Remote Sensing with minimum OGPA of 3.40/4.00 basis or OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis 65% marks.
•  Field Assistant (FA): 10^th passed along with knowledge in Punjabi.
• Technical Assistant (TA):   12^th with minimum 50% marks.

NR&E Division

• Research Fellow (RF): Master’s degree in Soil Science/Geology/Geography/ Environment/Geoinformatics/Remote Sensing and GIS with at least 1 year relevant experience
• Jr. Research Fellow (JRF): Graduation along with PG Diploma in RS & GISOR Masters in Soil /Agronomy/Chemistry / Geography /Environmental Science /Geoinformatics/Remote Sensing with minimum OGPA of 3.40/4.00 basis or OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis 65% marks.

Administration

• Clerk: Graduation and knowledge of Punjabi upto 10^th class.
• Admn.-cum-Accounts Officer (AAO) & equivalent: Graduate and SAS Examination or Higher Standard Departmental Examination conducted by PAU. Candidate must have passed Matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subject or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language.

Application Fee

Candidates have to pay Rs.500/- for RF/JRF/AAO/Clerk and Rs.200/- for FA/TA by cash or Demand Draft in favour of Director, Punjab Remote Sensing Centre payable at Ludhiana.

Pay Scale

• Research Fellow: Rs.16000/- PM + HRA
• Jr. Research Fellow: Rs.12000/- PM + HRA
• Field Assistant: Rs.6000/- PM
• Technical Assistant (TA): Rs.8000/- PM
• Clerk: Rs.10,000/- PM
• Admn.-cum-Accounts Officer (AAO) & equivalent: Rs.25,000/- PM

Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in interview.
