Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Three years full time diploma in engineering from any government recognized institution/ polytechnic in the following disciplines:
- Mechanical
- Electrical
- Metallurgy
- Electronics
Age limit (as on 1 July 2011): Minimum 18 years, Maximum 28 years
Emoluments: Selected candidates shall undergo training for the period of two years which may be extendable by another two years as per requirement. They shall continue to work as trainees and acquire various skills. On successful completion of training, they may be regularized as Operator-cum-Technician in S-3 grade in the pay scale of ` 9160- 3%- 13150 and consolidated Pay of Rs 8250 per month during 1 year and Rs 9350 per month during the 2nd year of Training.
Application Fee: Crossed Demand Draft of Rs 200 (Non-refundable) in favour of SAIL - Bokaro Steel Plant, payable at Bokaro Steel City for a validity period of 6 (Six) months from the date of advertisement. Application fees in any other form shall not be acceptable. (Fee exempted for SC/ ST/ PH/ Local Displaced Persons & BSL Departmental candidates).
Selection Procedure: The selection of candidates will be through written test followed by interview of short listed candidates.
