According to the SSC observations, there are many candidates, who have asked for scribe but there was not disability option mentioned in the application form.

According to the SSC observations, there are many candidates, who have asked for scribe but there was not disability option mentioned in the application form. Reacting to that, SSC has given this final chance to login and enter the status for the same. SSC CGL exam is approaching fast as the exam date is determined from 1stAugust, 2017 to 20thAugust, 2017.
It is observed by the commission that a few of candidates have urged the commission to facilitate them with the scribe without quoting it in the application form, whether they are a visually handicapped or Orthopaedically handicapped afflicted by cerebral palsy or locomotor disability wherein the dominant writing edge is affected to the extent of slowing down the candidate’s performance. All OH and VH candidates should be 40% or more with disability.
There are certain important requisites to avail the facility of scribe in the exam hall. Find them here below-
- All the Persons with Disability (PwD)/ Physically Handicapped (PH) and such candidates who have sought facility of scribe for the examination are requested to immediately confirm/ update their Disability Status and requirement of scribe at the following link:http://ssconline.nic.in/cgl17reviseddisabilitydetails/
- The last date for updating the required information is 20.07.2017 (Till 5 PM). In case, you are failed to do so under the stipulated time then SSC will not be liable to provide you scribe and you have to attempt the paper at your own discretion. No further extension or compensatory time will be provided.
- All the persons with disability (PwD)/ physically challenged candidates seeking for scribe/ reservation/ age relaxation/ compensatory time will be required to submit Disability Certificate from the govt. approved hospital at the time of document verification.
If you are not able to produce the relevant medical certificate having 40% or more disability then your candidature for availing assistance in scribe/ compensatory time will be subjected to cancellation.
