Union Budget 2024: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is all set to present the government's first budget of Modi's third term today. Despite all the sections have their own expectations from the first budget for the Modi 3.0, its youth of the country especially those preparing for the jobs have their own hope from the Finance Minister. As it is the first budget of the new government and it will provide a glimpse of many changes in the economy, rural areas, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and others. When the budget 2024 will lay the roadmap for the next five years of Modi 3.0, it is the crores of Indian youth who are keenly looking towards the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for some fresh announcement for creation of jobs and also the upskilling and other solid steps in the education sector of the country.
The youth and especially the government jobs aspirants of the country are waiting for the employment generation and other steps will get mentioned in her announcements during the Budget 2024.
In fact, unemployment, lack of job opportunities especially in government job sectors and other related issues have increased the plights of job aspirants across the country. Certainly youth are waiting for some solid assurance to their concerns especially for the job creation and employment fronts from this budget.
The Modi 3.0 government has to prove the expectations of the youth across the country for their annoyance for not creating enough jobs. According to reports, the International Labour Organisation (ILO) has earlier highlighted that employment growth was extremely minimal, at only 0.01 percent in India
Focus on Skilled Youth in Various Sectors
Despite the fact the government has encouraged the "Atma nirbhar bharat '' mission and many many startups across the country, its need of the hour to provide the ample employment through these companies especially for the trained and skilled youth of the country. There is not a lack of skilled and semi-skilled youth across the country in different trades including Diploma/ITI/Engineering.
Government has to provide job opportunities in leading trades across the country including engineering, automotive, electronics, infrastructure, chemical, pharmaceutical, defence sectors, food processing and others.
Need For Job-linked Vocational Education Scheme
In a bid to meet the current and future demands of job and opportunity, it is a need of the hour to focus on such vocational courses and launch an education system which can provide job -linked opportunities. Experts say that such a job-linked vocational scheme will train the manpower and it will prepare the youth to meet the current need and also for the future point of view.
Focus on Agricultural infrastructure
Agricultural infrastructure and incentives are also the major sectors which can be crucial in terms of jobs creation which are still to be paid attention by the government and concerned agencies. To increase domestic production in terms of key crops with new and innovative technologies can increase the jobs possibilities across the country.
