UP Police 2024 Exam Begins Tomorrow, Check Exam Day Guidelines, Reporting Time

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) is set to conduct the UP Police Constable exam starting August 23. The exam will be held offline across 67 districts in the state and will take place in two shifts: from 10 AM to 12 PM and from 3 PM to 5 PM. 

Over 40 lakh candidates are expected to appear, competing for 60,244 Constable vacancies. Selection will be based on their performance in both the written exam and physical test. Those who successfully clear all stages will be recruited as Constables, with a monthly salary of Rs. 21,700.

The UP Police Constable admit card has already been released on the official website. Prospective candidates are advised to download it and carefully review the important guidelines provided here before the exam day.

UP Police Constable Exam Day Guidelines 2024

Here are a few UP Police Constable Exam Day Guidelines 2024 shared below for the reference of the candidates. It is essential to maintain the decorum of the exam hall in order to avoid any hassles on the examination day.

• Aspirants must reach the exam centre at least 2 hours before the commencement of the exam to complete the verification within the stipulated period.
• It is mandatory to carry the admit card along with photo ID proof and blue/black ballpoint pen.
• The entry gate will be closed 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam and after no candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall.
• Candidates must avoid carrying prohibited items such as material, pieces of paper, calculator, pen drive, eraser, log table/electronic pen, bluetooth devices, earphones, handbag, etc at the exam centre. Appropriate legal action will be taken if the prohibited items is found in the candidate’s possession during the examination day.
• Candidates can leave the exam hall only after the examination is over.

UP Police Constable 2024 Reporting Time

Aspirants are advised to report to the UP Police Constable exam center two hours prior to the start of the exam to get ample time for security checks and registration formalities. Arriving early will help you settle in smoothly and compose yourself without hassle. It is important to note that the registration desk will close 30 minutes before the exam begins, so reaching the center well ahead of time is crucial.
