• Scientist-‘B’ (Hydrometeorologist) – 6 Posts
• Medical Officer - 11

Eligibility Criteria for Medical Officer, Scientist B and Other Posts

Educational Qualification:

• Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Paediatric Surgery) – A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
• Chemist- Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognised University or Institution
• Deputy Director – Master’s Degree or equivalent Post Graduate Diploma in any of these Subjects-: History/Sociology/Economics/ Political Science/ Public Administration/ Geography/ or Law from a recognized University or equivalent.
• Scientist-‘B’ (Hydrometeorologist) – Master’s degree in Science or Degree in Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.
• Medical Officer - medical qualifications included in the first or the second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

Age Limit

• Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Paediatric Surgery) – 43 years 
• Chemist- 35 years
• Deputy Director – 40 years
• Scientist-‘B’ (Hydrometeorologist)/Medical Officer - 35 years
