Uttar Pradesh State Government has has appointed new chairman of Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) Chandra Bhushan Paliwal today.Along with him, a team of few members- Hriday Narrain Rao, Seema Rani, Onkar Prasad Mishra, Arun Kumar Sinha and Ashok Kumar Agarwal have also been appointed by the Commission.
The prime objective to appoint the new Chairman is to make the recruitment process easier and faster. All the direct recruitment to all the Group ‘C’ posts below Group ‘B’ posts including posts in the Civil Secretariat and also to all Group ‘C’ posts in a Board or a Corporation or any other statutory body established by or controlled by the State Government will be under the guidance of Chairman and its members.
The appointing authority consisting of the Chairman & its members includes intimation to the commission about the number of vacancies to be filled through the commission during the course of the year. The number of vacancies reserved for the candidates belonging to the SC and ST and other categories will also be under the eye of the authority. The recruitment process will begin soon after the number of vacancies is decided. The responsibilities of the appointed members will be to conduct the examination and interviews of candidates and make the selection of candidates for appointment.
