4. Beat around the bush - घुमा-फि राकर बात करना

eg. Don’t shed crocodile tears at the bankruptcy of your rival.

अपने विरोधी के दिवालिया होने पर मगरम च्छ के आँसू मत बहाओ।

8. Burst into tears - अचानक जोर से रोने लगना

eg. eg. Hearing the sad news he burst into tears.

दुखद खबर सुनते ही वह जोर से रोने लगा।

9. A leap in the dark - कअंधेरे में लगायी हुई छलांग

eg. Investing in share market is a leap in the dark.

शेयर मार्केट में पैसा लगाना अंधेरे में छलांग लगाने के बराबर है।

10. Burst into laughter - अचानक जोर से हँसने लगना

eg. Listening to his talks he burst into laughter.

उसकी बात सुनते ही वह जोर से हँसने लगा।

11. Turn a deaf ear to - ध्यान न देना / बहरे कान से सुनना

eg. Don’t turn a deaf ear to the advice of your parents.

अपने माता-पिता की सलाह को बहरे कान से मत सुनो।

12. Speak ill of - किसी की बुराई क रना

eg. Don’t speak ill of anybody.

किसी की बुराई न करो।

13. Lick person’s boots - तलवे चाटना

eg. He licks the leader’s boots.

वह राजनेताओं के तलवे चाटता है।
