K Annamalai Election Result 2024: BJP's Tamil Nadu president K Annamalai lost against DMK candidate Ganapathy P. Rajkumar in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu by 118068 votes. The election was held on April 19, 2024, in the first phase.
The seat is currently held by CPM leader PR Natarajan, who contested the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. He won by more than 1.79 lakh votes, defeating BJP's C. P. Radhakrishnan.
The BJP is hoping to open its account in Lok Sabha elections in Tamil Nadu with the firepower of state party president K Annamalai.
K Annamalai Lok Sahba 2024 Constituency
In 2024, the BJP chose K Annamalai, a former IPS officer turned politician, to contest from the Coimbatore Lok Sabha constituency. He will take on 37 candidates including former Mayor Ganapathi P. Rajkumar of the DMK, Singai G. Ramachandran of the AIADMK, and Kalamani Jagannathan of the NTK.
