NEET UG Result 2023
Candidates can download NEET UG result 2023 on neet.nta.nic.in, cnr.nic.in and ntaresults.nic.in. CAndidates who have appeared for the NEET UG exam 2023 can download NEET result by logging in with their NEET UG login credentials to check the result. Along with the result, they can also download the scorecard. The NEET scorecard has data regarding the candidate's pass percentile, marks scored by the candidates, cut off marks, etc
This year, two candidates have topped the NEET exam, Prabhanjan J (Tamil Nadu) and Bora Varun Chakravarthi (Andhra Pradesh). Uttar Pradesh has the highest umber of NEET qualifiers this year which is 1.39 lakh followed by Maharashtra with 1.31 lakh. Among the states, Uttar Pradesh has registered the highest number of qualifying candidates (1.39 lakh) followed by Maharashtra (1.31 lakh) and Rajasthan (over 1 lakh).

NTA has activated the direct link to download NEET result 2023 on neet.nta.nic.in. Aspirants can download NEET result PDF by logging in with their NEET UG application number, date of birth, and security pin. Through the NEET result, the qualified candidates will be able to take admission to take admission into the MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, nursing, BVSc courses as per the merit list.

How to check NEET Result 2023?
NEET aspirants who appeared for NEET 2023 exam can download the NEET result 2023 online by the following method.
- Visit the NTA NEET official website which is neet.nta.nic.in
- Click on the “View NEET-UG 2023 -Result” tab that appears on the screen.
- On the NEET candidate login page, enter your roll number, Date of Birth, and the security pin provided on the page.
- Your NEET result 2023 will be displayed on the screen.
- Download the result and take its print out for future reference.

Previous Year NEET Result Qualifying Percentile & Scores
NTA will release the NEET Cut Off marks along with the result. The cut off is the minimum marks that is needed to qualify the exam. NEET exam is held for a total of 720 marks. All the questions are objective in nature. The marking scheme is released by NTA in the NEET syllabus itself. Check the details for NEET marking scheme in the table below. .

NEET Merit List 2023
NTA is responsible for preparing the NEET merit list. The merit list for NEET counselling is prepared according to the NEET result based on te marks obtained by candidates in the written test.
The qualified candidate’s list will be forwarded to the Directorate General of Health Services for the allotment of seats available under 15% All India Quota. Later on, the NEET merit list will be arranged as per the category-wise on the basis of the category given at the time of applying for counselling. NTA will provide the merit list with central and state counselling authorities that will be used for admission.
The respective counselling authorities will then publish the merit lists that will have the NEET state rank. A final merit list will be prepared by the respective state counselling authorities.
NEET Result 2023: Tie-Breaking Method for NEET Result
If two or more candidates score the same score in NEET result, then a tie breaking rule will be applied. Here is the tie breaking method to release NEET result 2023.
Option 1: An aspirant who scores higher marks in Biology will be preferred over other candidates.
Option 2: If the above criteria do not work, then aspirants who have scored higher in Chemistry will be given preference.
Option 3: Less negative marks: If the tie still persists, the candidate who has less number of incorrect answers in NEET exam will be given a higher order of merit compared to others.
Option 3: According to the latest NEET UG 2023 update, the method of breaking ties with the age factor was scrapped. However, it will be in consideration from the 2nd round of NEET Counselling.
NEET UG 2023 Result: Previous years' toppers and marks
