January is the month of awards. First, the Golden Globes were held, and then the Critics Choice Awards took place two days before the Emmys. The Emmys, or the Emmy Awards 2024, were held on January 15, in Los Angeles, California. Organised annually by the Television Academy, the awards ceremony was hosted by actor and comedian, Anthony Anderson. 

The Emmys are held to celebrate the brilliance and achievements of the television industry. Over the course of a year, multiple Emmy ceremonies take place, including the Primetime Emmys, Daytime Emmys, International Emmys, etc. 

TV shows “Succession” and “The Bear” swept the floor in the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards.
