The popular photo and video-sharing app Instagram has heard the voices of many users who face frustration because of typos. The social media giant has finally rolled out its highly anticipated "Edit Message" feature, allowing users to modify their messages after sending them.

Here are some essential details:

  • To edit a message, users can simply navigate to the sent message and long-press it. Select "Edit" from the menu, and they'll be able to make changes to the message directly.
  • While users can edit your message as many times as they like, it's important to note that a small "Edited" label will appear below the message, indicating any changes made.
  • Unfortunately, this feature is similar to the one offered on WhatsApp and offers a limited window of 15 minutes for editing a message.

The feature was announced by Mark Zuckerberg on Instagram through his Meta Channel and he calls this feature a ‘Game Changer.’
