On Saturday, the portfolios of 11 ministers in the new cabinet led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy were announced. The unallocated portfolios, along with that of municipal administration and law and order are kept by the Chief Minister himself. The oath of the Chief Minister was taken on Thursday at the LB Stadium, Hyderabad, by Revanth Reddy, who is also the president of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee.
The oath of office and secrecy was administered to him as the second CM of Telangana by Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, the Governor.
Moreover, the position of his deputy is allocated to Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.
Not only the CM but a total of 10 other ministers were also sworn in by the Governor. These include Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Dasari Anasuya, D Sridhar Babu, Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, Jupally Krishna Rao, N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar, Damodar Raja Narasimha, Thummala Nageshwara Rao, and Konda Surekha.

It is the Congress Party that managed to secure an outstanding victory in the state of Telangana. The party secured a total of 64 seats out of the total 119. CPI, on the other hand, secured one seat. The results were declared on December 3. It was two days after the declaration that Revanth Reddy was named as the upcoming chief minister of Telangana and the leader of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) AICC leadership by AICC leadership.
Revanth Reddy is going to be the first Chief Minister of Telangana from the Congress Party. Almost all newly elected MLAs favored Reddy's name as the next CM of the state of Telangana.
