AIIMS MBBS 2019 Topper: The much anticipated AIIMS MBBS 2019 result was declared on 12th June, 2019 by AIIMS, New Delhi. The top position in the race to grab a seat in the premier medical institution of the country was bagged by Bhavik Bansal of Delhi. Bansal also obtained AIR 2 in the National Eligiblity cum Entrance Test conducted by the NTA. AIIMS, New Delhi released a list of all the candidates who qualified in the AIIMS MBBS 2019 exam on the official website. Of the total candidates that qualified, 4 candidates including Bhavik have secured 100 percentile.
In the AIIMS MBBS 2019 exam, Bhavik Bansal scored 100 percentile in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and 99.97 percentile in the General Knowledge section. In the NEET 2019 exam, he obtained a whopping 700 marks out of 720. In interviews to leading media agencies after the NEET 2019 result, Bhavik had been quoted saying that he hoped to clear the AIIMS MBBS exam. Now that the result of AIIMS MBBS 2019 is out, he claimed that though he found the AIIMS entrance test to be more challenging than NEET, he enjoyed solving the AIIMS MBBS paper as the questions tested the aptitude and skills better. Bansal also told the media house that he devoted more time to solving the Physics section in the AIIMS MBBS 2019 exam as it demanded more attention.
Bhavik said that he had been preparing for the AIIMS MBBS entrance since the last two years, and as the authorities have not released the question papers of the entrance test, the preparation was more ambiguous. He believes in sincere practice and said that one needed strong hold of the concept combined with speed to ace the AIIMS MBBS entrance test. He was also enrolled in full time coaching along with two test preparation series. A final contender from India for Hungary based International competition, Bhavik also participated in the Biology Olympiad and wants to pursue research in future.
