CBSE 12th result 2016: The wait for more than 10.67 lakh CBSE class 12 students all over India will come to an end today as the CBSE 12th result 2016 gets declared today, Saturday, 21 May, 2016 at 12 noon for all regions, as per an official website of CBSE (www.cbse.nic.in) & CBSE results (www.cbseresults.nic.in).
Last year a Delhi girl, M Gayatri has topped this year's Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE Class 12 examinations, scoring 496 out 500 or 99.2 per cent in the Commerce stream
Overall, girls did better than boys in 2015. In the top three were two girls - topper M Gayatri, from the New Greenfield School in Delhi's Saket and Mythili Mishra of Amity School, Noida, tied for second place with B Arjun of Kendriya Vidyalaya Pattom, in Thiruvananthapuram, the region that had the most successful result with almost 96 per cent students pass in the examination. Both Mythili and Arjun scored 495 out of 500.
The CBSE Class XII board exams began on 1 March and ended by 22 April, 2016. 10,67,900 students (6.2 lakh boys and 4.4 lakh girls) registered for the CBSE class 12 board exams 2016, which is an increase of 2.65 % from previous year's figures (10.4 lakh students in 2015.). Finally the Big Day for CBSE students, who have been waiting for the declaration of CBSE 12 Result 2016.
As per the latest updates, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to announce the CBSE Class 12 Result 2016 online on May 30.
