According to the recent notification released, the Central Board of Secondary Education has extended the last date for the payment of the class 10 and 12 board examination fee. According to the extended schedule,the last date for submitting the exam fee and the last date for schools to submit the List of Candidates is October 31, 2020. The board had earlier mentioned the last date for students to complete the registrations was October 15, 2020, for the 2021 Class 10 and 12 board examinations.
Registration with late fee until November 7
As per reports, the board will receive the list of candidates for the class 10 and 12 board exams with an additional late fee from November 1 and 7, 2020. The decision to extend the deadline for the exam fee submission of class 10 and 12 board examinations keeping in mind the problems faced by the students and parents due to the pandemic.
According to the notification provided a late fee of Rs. 300/- will be applicable for the students submitting the registrations between November 1 and 7,2020.
Official Notification Submission of LOC
The board announced the extension in the fee submission on its official Twitter account stating that considering the problems faced by the schools and parents, the last date or the submission of List of Candidates (LOC) by the schools for the class 10 and 12 students appearing for the 2021 board examinations without a late fee has been extended from October 15, 2020, to October 31, 2020, and with late fee has been extended from November 1 to 7, 2020.
Class 9 and 11 Exam Fee for Registrations
Along with the registrations for class 10 and 12 board examinations, the board has also released the dates for the class 9 and 11 examinations. According to the schedule provided, the last date for students to submit the fee for class 9 and 11 exams is November 19, 2020.

The Delhi Government had earlier written to the CBSE requesting for an extension in the registration dates and payment of the examination fee for the 2021 Board examinations. The board had also been requested last month to waive off the entire examination fee as a one time measure for the students from Class 10 to 12 studying in the government-run and government-aided schools. The Directorate of Education (DoE) had stated that considering the request the board had shown its inability to waive off the examination fee.
