CBSE expected to release Class 10 and 12 examination date sheet in January 2020

CBSE class 10 and 12 Date Sheet: The Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to release the Class 10 and 12 examination date sheets in January 2020. According to media reports, there have been claims that the CSE date sheet will be released in December 2019, although it has been stated by the CBSE chairperson, Anita Karwal that the CBSE class 10 and 12 examination date sheets will not be published before January 2020.

As per media reports, the CBSE chairperson has stated that the CBSE class 10 and 12 date sheets will be released in the first week of January 2020 and the candidates can download the date sheets from the official website of the board. 

The CBSE class 10 and 12 board examinations are to commence from February 2020 and from last year itself the board had preponed the examinations form the first week of March to February 21, 2019.

CBSE Practical Examination Date Sheet

The Central Board of Secondary Education has recently released the date sheet for the class 10 and 12, practical examinations. As per the schedule provided, the practical examinations are scheduled to be conducted from January 1 to February 7, 2020. Candidates can check the practical examination date sheet from the official website of the board.

CBSE assessment

Along with the date sheet for the practical examination, the board also released the revised list of assessments for the class 10 and 12 examinations. As per the revised assessment list, for every subject, there are two to three assessment components which include theory and practice of project or internal assessment.

Students appearing for the class 10 and 12 examinations are required to clear each component separately by obtaining 33 percent marks in each of them. While the assessment for most of the subjects is divided into theory and practical, the practical examinations will be conducted for 20 marks while the theory examination will be for 80 marks.

The board has also notified that the examinations will not be conducted completely based on the NCERT syllabus. The board has released its syllabus for the upcoming class 10 and 12 examinations.
