CBSE releases FAQs related to CBSE Class 10 marks calculation, Check at cbse.gov.in

The Central Board of Secondary Education has issued a set of Frequently Asked Questions for the calculation of the Class 10 marks for the students. Check FAQs through the direct link given on this page.

The Central Board of Secondary Education has issued a set of Frequently Asked Questions for the Class 10 Board results 2021. The FAQs have been issued for the calculation of marks for the class 10 board exams. The CBSE class 10 results will be declared based on an evaluation scheme set by the board since the exams were cancelled by the board due to th COVID-19 pandemic.

The FAQs have been released on the official website of the board. Class 10 CBSE students can visit the official website of the board to check the FAQs released and understand the calculation of marks for the class 10 results. The board earlier announced that the portal for schools to upload the marks has been activated on the official website of the board.

With the confusion regarding the CBSE  exam results for class 10, many questions are being raised by parents and students regarding the calculation of marks. Parents and students have asked about the calculation of marks if a student has not appeared for one of the exams in the internals or if there is a mistake while uploading the marks or if the student is not satisfied with the marks allotted. The FAQs released answers all these questions and more. 

Results based on Objective Criteria

The CBSE  class 10 results 2021 will be declared based on objective criteria set by the board for evaluating the students in the fairest possible manner. As per the details mentioned in the FAQs, if a student has not appeared in an assessment conducted by the schools, the schools may conduct an offline/ online or telephonic one-to one-assessment of the said student and record the evidence to certify the recommendations. 

Students who are not satisfied with the marks allotted will also be given an opportunity to appear for the exams to be conducted by the board when the conditions are suitable.
