CBSE Term 1 Result 2021: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the CBSE 10th and 12th Term 1 examination results soon. Candidates who have appeared for the CBSE class 10 and 12 Term 1 Exams can visit the official website of the board for further details. The CBSE Term 1 10th and 12th results will be available on the official website - cbse.gov.in or on Digilocker. Candidates awaiting the CBSE 10th and 12th results 2021 are advised to keep visitng this page for further details.

Apart from the result, CBSE also releases the passing marks for Class 10 and 12. In order to pass the CBSE board exams, students have to secure the minimum marks and that is the passing marks.

CBSE Term 1 Passing Criteria

This year, due to COVID-19, the CBSE board exam is being held in two terms for classes 10th and 12th both. The CBSE term 1 exams has been conducted in December. Now, the students are eagerly waiting for the announcement of CBSE term 1 result 2021-22.

However, this time, the term 1 results will not declare any student as pass or fail. These results will only give the marks secured by the them in the respective subjects. The Board concluded that the students will only get the final merit after the CBSE Term 2 exam. The merit list of students will include the Term 1 marks, Term 2 marks, and the internal marks also.

CBSE Passing Marks for Class 10th and 12th 2022

As per the previous years, to meet the CBSE 10th passing criteria, students must score a minimum of 33% marks in theory exams, practicals and internal assessment. Hence, it is the minimum marks required for passing marks in CBSE class 10 and 12th. Also, the practical and internal assessments will be conducted by the respective schools.

Apart from that the passing marks for the CBSE Term 1 exams are 33%. As the total marks for theory exam of term 1 examination is 40, hence the passing marks are expected to be 13. But students must secure more than 20 marks to get a good percentage in aggregate.

CBSE Passing Marks 2022 for Class 12

In CBSE 12th board exams, students must secure 33% marks in theory and practical exams separately. Further, the external examiner will be appointed by the Directorate of NCC regarding the practical exam. Check CBSE 12th 2022 passing criteria for all streams.

  • Step 3 - Enter the login details and click on submit.
  • Step 4 - The result will be displayed on the screen.
  • Step 5 - Download and save the result.
