CHSE Odisha 12th Result 2021: As per the media updates, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) is expected to release the Odisha class 12th result on 31st July 2021. Education minister Samir Ranjan Dash said, "As per the direction of the Supreme Court to the state Boards and Councils, we are planning to declare the annual Plus II examination results by July 31." As this year, the board exams were cancelled therefore, the Odisha 12th result will be announced based on the alternative evaluation criteria.

According to CHSE officials, this year the pass percentage of students in the CHSE Plus two exams may cross 90% as it will be declared on the basis of the Class 10 board examination in which over 97% of students were declared pass. The alternative assessment is likely to fetch more marks. On 19th June, the Odisha government issued modalities for Class 12 results 2021 for the cancelled exams.
Evaluation Criteria for Odisha Class 12th
As per the media reports, the regular students of state board class 12th will be given marks in the theory papers based on their performances in class 10th board exams. For this purpose, a detailed subject mapping has been prepared. The scores in theory papers for ex-regular examinees will be awarded on the basis of their performance in the previous CHSE examination in which they had appeared. Scores will be awarded in the practical/ project component of a paper both for regular and ex-regular examinees at their higher secondary school level.
However, students who are not satisfied with the result declared on the basis of Alternative Assessment Criteria can opt to appear for the examination in the off-line mode which will be conducted when the situation will be conducive, the department said in a notification. Earlier, the examinations of the class 12 Arts, Science, and Commerce along with vocational courses were cancelled keeping in mind the health and safety issues of the students, teachers and parents.
