CBSE Assessment Framework: Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal will be launching the CBSE Assessment Framework for the CBSE Science, English, and Mathematics subjects. The assessment framework will be launched by 5 PM today as per the official tweet put out by the education minister. The CBSE Assessment Framework is being launched as part of the CBSE and British Council - 'Competency-based Education Project'
The CBSE Assessment Framework is being launched with an aim to improve the level of Science, Maths and English lessons taught in Classes 6 to 10. The framework has been introduced as per the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) focusing on teaching children using high-order thinking skills, critical thinking, and analysis. The focus will also be laid on helping the students get conceptual clarity rather than limiting to route-learning.
The CBSE Assessment framework for the students from classes 6 to 10 has been developed based on the NCERT curriculum and CBSE Syllabus. The system will also help the students in appearing for the pen and paper examinations.
The Competency-based education project of the Central Board of Secondary Education is aimed at developing skills and practical knowledge among the students. The new system will work along with regular textbook knowledge given to students inside the classrooms.
