Goa CET 2021 Application Process Deferred: As per the latest update, the Directorate of Technical Education – DTE Goa has decided to defer or postpone the Goa CET 2021 Application and Registration process for now. As per the earlier notification, GCET 2021 Registrations were to commence from 17th May 2021, which has been deferred for now. Like for previous editions, the Goa Common Entrance Test 2021 (GCET) application process was to be held in completely online format via the official website of the Directorate i.e. dte.goa.gov.in. However, for now, looking at the prevailing situation, it has been deferred to a later date.

New Dates to be Notified Soon
To avoid any confusion and to quell rumours around GCET 2021 application process, the Directorate issued an official notification confirming the postponement in the registration process for the state-level entrance exam. While the current dates for Goa CET 2021 registration process have been deferred, the Directorate has not notified any new dates for the same. The official notification read ““Acceptance of GCET 2021 application forms from 17th May 2021 is deferred. Fresh schedule of acceptance, with details, shall be duly notified on this website.”
About Goa CET 2021
The Goa Common Entrance Test 2021 is a state-level entrance exam being held by the Directorate of Technical Education, Goa (DTE Goa). The entrance exam is held as a screening test to shortlist candidates for admission to undergraduate engineering and pharmacy courses for colleges based in Goa. As per the schedule released earlier, the GCET 2021 is scheduled to be held from 15th and 16th June 2021 onwards. Candidates qualifying for the entrance test will have to participate in GCET counseling for admission to the participating institutes of Goa.
