DU Admissions CBSE Results

A review meeting was conducted with the ministry officials and Delhi University to discuss a ‘Synchronized Calendar’ for DU Admissions and CBSE board exam results by Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal. Delhi University had earlier on extended the deadline for students to submit the applications for the undergraduate postgraduate and Ph.D. application forms until July 18, 2020. The CBSE is also expected to declare the class 10 and 12 board examination results by July 15, 2020.

Earlier, the CBSE was set to conduct the remaining examinations for the students but based on a Supreme Court hearing decided to declare the results based on a new assessment scheme to be followed by the board. The board was scheduled to conduct the examinations for the class 10 and 12 students in July but was faced with an opposition that filed a petition stating that the situation was not safe enough for the board to conduct the exams. Following this, the board announced a revised scheme for the assessment of class 10 and 12 students remaining examinations and declaration of the results. The board has also announced a reduction in the syllabus for the class 9 to 12 students due to the COVID-19 lockdown situation.

Delhi University with respect to the CBSE students takes the results from the board for an easier application process for the students applying to the undergraduate courses from the board. The Delhi University applications are available on the official website of the university.

The announcement regarding the ‘Synchronized Calendar’ for the Delhi University and CBSE Examinations results was made through the official twitter handle of the minister in which he also assured that the ministry is committed towards the health and quality of the students.
