NEET UG Counselling 2024: The Medical Counselling Committee is expected to begin the NEET UG 2024 counselling process soon. The Supreme Court in yesterday's verdict has refused a retest for NEET UG stating that there is no proof that the sanctity of the exam has been violated. The order has come as a relief for lakhs of students who appeared for the NEET UG Exams. 

As per recent reports, the NEET UG counselling 2024 was scheduled to begin today July 24, 2024. The complete schedule and confirmation of dates for the NEET UG counselling registration and application process are yet awaited. MCC conducts a total of three counselling rounds following which a stray vacancy round will be conducted for admissions to remaining seats under the 15% All India Quota.

NEET UG Counselling 2024 - Points to Remember

• The NEET UG counselling is conducted in online mode.
• Candidates who have cleared their NEET UG exams and are eligible to apply for admissions under the 15% All India Quota seats must register for round 1 of counselling through the link available on the official website. 
• Based on the choices entered by students the first round allotment results will be announced. 
• Students allotted seats of their choice must report to the medical colleges with all necessary documents to complete the admission process.

When filling out the NEET UG Counselling applications, students are required to upload the following documents for verification. The same must be carried by students to the colleges for the final admission process

• Counselling allotment letter
• NTA hall ticket
• Birth certificate
• Class 10, 12 marksheets
• Category certificates
• EWS category certificates 
• 8 Passport size photographs
