Patna University Admission: PU To Commence PG Admission Procedure from Today: Report

Patna University Admission 2021: As per the latest update, Patna University will release the Patna University (PU) application form 2021 for PG programmes on 2nd July. Earlier, PU's vice-chancellor Girish Kumar Chaudhary announced that the online admission form will be available on the official website - patnauniversity.ac.in. The last date to fill the PU admission application form is 17th July 2021.

Amid the coronavirus pandemic this year, more than 11 lakh students passed their class 12 examination that was conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board. Therefore, the announcement has come as a major relief to students who are waiting for their admissions into colleges.

How To Apply for Patna University Admission Form 2021?

Interested applicants can fill online admission forms through an online portal. They will have to visit the official website and complete the application process. Also, before filling up the form, they must check the eligibility to avoid rejection. Go through the steps to apply for Patna University PG admission 2021 -

• Step 1 - Go to the official website of PU - patnauniversity.ac.in.
• Step 2 - On the homepage, click on apply online for admission.
• Step 3 - A new page will be displayed. Now, register by entering the required details.
• Step 4 - After registration, complete the application form and upload the documents.
• Step 5 - Pay the application fees and submit the PU PG admission form.

Candidates will need to pay the application fee through credit card, debit card or net Banking. The Patna University application fee for PG programmes is Rs. 500. Also, they must take a printout of the application form and payment receipt.

Patna University Mode of Selection

Professor Anil Kumar, dean of students' welfare said that the university is yet to decide on the mode of selection. He also added, "We are yet to decide the mode of selection as we are waiting for Raj Bhawan's direction in this light." Further in the statement, he updated that they are planning to begin the academic session on time this year, which hopefully begins by the first week of August.

Patna University Pending Exams

Talking about the pending exams of Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) courses, Kumar asserted that the pending exams will be conducted soon to clear backlogs and bring the academic calendar on track. Patna University has 31 postgraduate departments apart from Patna Medical College and Patna Dental College in the Faculty of Medicine that are under the State Government.
