THE World Emerging University Rankings 2022: The Times Higher Education (THE) Emerging Economies University rankings has been released. As per the rank released, the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore has got the 18th position in Times Higher Education (THE) World University Ranking 2022 for Emerging Economies. IISc Bangalore is followed by JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, Mysore, IIT Indore and IIT Ropar in the top 100 list of world’s universities for Emerging Economies. While JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research has ranked 73, IIT Indore and IIT Ropar have secured 84th and 86th spots, respectively.

University of Delhi (DU) and Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune are in the 201-250 bracket while Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Anna University, IIT Dhanbad, IIT Patna, Jadavpur University, Kolkata, and NIT Silchar lie in the 251-300 bracket. Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, NIT Rourkela, and NIT Trichy are in the 301-350 bracket. IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Mandi, Jamia Hamdard University, University of Mumbai are in the 351-400 bracket while NIT Jalandhar is in the 401-500 bracket.
