TS SSC Exams Cancelled after HC Intervention

The decision to cancel the pending Telangana 10th Exam 2020 in the state came in the wake of High Court’s intervention in the holding of rescheduled exams. As reported earlier, Telangana High Court had asked TS Government not to hold the SSC Exams, which were to be held from 8th June 2020 in the areas of GHMC area. The districts of Hyderabad, Secunderabad, and Ranga Reddy are identified as Covid-19 hotspots and the court didn’t permit the state government to hold TS SSC Exam 2020 there. However, Hyderabad HC allowed the state government and TSBSE to hold exams in all other districts and areas of the state.

However, in response, TS Government ruled out holding of exams in two different phases and decided to postpone the exam. Finally, today evening, the state government decided that it was not feasible to hold TS SSC Exam 2020 in the state and decided to cancel the exam and promote students based in internal exam marks.
