IIM-Bangalore has announced that it will be conducting CAT 2016. It is for the first time that IIM-B has been given the responsibility of conducting the CAT examination. Rajendra K. Bandi is the convener of the CAT 2016 exam and the examinations will be conducted in two sessions on December 4, 2016.
After the release of CAT notification, the most anticipated news of IIM-B conducting CAT was also made official. The news came round in the month of May 2016 when Professor Bandyopadhyay gave an official statement about the probability of this event. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is the test-taking agency for 2016 again.
The registration for the CAT 2016 will commence from 8th August 2016 and will allow entrance into the 20 prestigious IIMs in the country. Other Institutes such as Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology, Management Development Institute, SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, Great Lakes Institute of Management and many more also accept the scores of CAT 2016.
