Delhi Police is expected to issue job notification to fill up 4669 Constable (Male/Female) posts soon. The recruitment of the candidates in Delhi Police will be through SSC.
There will be 3611 vacancies for Constable (Male) post and 1058 vacancies for Constable (Female) post.
Candidates with an educational qualification of Senior Secondary (10+2) can apply for the posts. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the Physical Endurance, Measurement Test and Written Test.

Delhi Police Recruitment Process for Constables (Male and Female)
A recruitment board appointed by the Commissioner of Delhi Police takes care of the recruitments done in the ranks of Constable. The minimum age for this purpose is 18 years with the maximum being 21 years whereas the minimum height required is 170 cms and the chest is 81 to 85 cms. One needs to be a 10th or 10+2 pass to be eligible for the job. The recruitment process consists of written examination and physical test.
