Goa Board HSSC Result 2014 will be Published Today

    As per a recent press note released by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE), the Goa Board HSSC Result 2014 all the streams namely Commerce, Science and Arts will be declared Today 11 May 2014 at 04.30 pm. Students who appeared in the Goa HSSC Exam 2014 and have been waiting anxiously for their results now no more waiting. Earlier, the results were to be declared on 10 May 2014 as announced by the GBSHSE.  

    On declaration, Goa Board HSSC Result 2014 can be checked at the GBSHSE’s official website for results. Or else, to get the results alert on time, students can register or subscribe at

    The public HSSC exams 2014 in Goa was held from 01 March to 17 March 2014 by the GBSHSE, in which 4193 students from the commerce stream, 3213 from the science stream, 2765 candidates from the arts stream and 2,416 from the vocational stream appeared. As per our information 6,374 boys answered the Class 12 exams this year, while 6,213 girls appeared for the public exam.

    As announced in the press note, the distribution of passing certificate cum statement of Grade/Marks of H.S.S.C. examination will be done on 13 May 2014 from 10.00 a.m. to 01.00 pm. The Private candidates appeared for this HSSC Examination should collect their Passing certificate cum statement of Grade/Marks from Board's Office, Alto Betim Bardez Goa, said the note.

    According to the information furnished in the press note, the last date for accepting the applications for revaluation of answer script at the board's office is 20 May. The verification of marks in presence of parent/guardian will also be done on the same day. For supply of photocopies of answer-books, the last date is 03 June 2014, and the verification of marks in absentia/presentia will be done before 6 June 2014.

    Last year, the Goa Board HSSC results were declared on 02 May 2013, but this year it will be declared late because the procedure of paper correction and result compilation has been done at a slow pace due to the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

The main state board of education in the Indian state of Goa, it is responsible for secondary and higher secondary education management in its affiliated schools.
