HPPSC Recruitment 2019: Computer Based Test for Various Recruitments commencing from 1 May onwards

HPPSC Recruitment 2019: Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has released a press note regarding the commencement of computer-based test for various recruitments from 1 May 2019 onwards.

According to the press notice, the commission had taken the decision of conducting screening test through online mode to take the benefit of IT and expedite the recruitment process. The commission has the capacity to conduct the CBT of about 1300 candidates in one session. It has been observed that the number of candidates exceeds the total capacity of the exam centres in most of the examinations.

So, HPSC has decided to conduct the exam in multiple sessions with different question papers. The test will be held in a single slot with the same question paper and in different slots with a set of question papers. The commission will conduct the exam on the particular date depending upon the availability of exam centres and a total number of candidates.

Recently, HPPSC has issued various notifications for recruitment to the post of Block Development Officers, Administrative Service, Faculty, Computer Operator, Clerk and Others. The final selection on these posts will be done on the basis of online test and interview. The appointment of the candidates will depend on the overall performance of the candidate.
