JEE Main Paper 1 Answer Key 2024: Joint Entrance Examination Mains (JEE Mains) are conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) every year for students who want a place in top National Institute of Technology (NITs), Indian Institute of Technology (IITs), and Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) of the country. For the academic session 2024-2025, JEE Mains began on January 24, 2024, and will run until February 1, 2024. The exam is conducted for students of B. Tech, BArch, and B. Planning. 

The first exam on January 24 was conducted for Papers 2A and 2B, namely, B. Arch and B. Planning. B. Tech papers will begin starting from today (January 27, 2024). The first shift starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 12:00 PM whereas the second shift starts at 3:00 PM and ends at 6:00 PM. Steps to Download the NTA JEE Main Answer Key 2024

Here is the correct procedure to download the NTA JEE Main Answer Key 2024. Soon after the completion of JEE Mains 2024, NTA will be releasing the answer key through its official website. 

Step 1: Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on JEE Main Provisional Answer Key 2024.

Step 3: Login to the portal using your JEE Main application number and date of birth.

Step 4: Click on the submit button.

Step 5: Click on the answer, and the JEE Main 2024 answer key with response sheet will be displayed.

Step 6: Download the NTA JEE Main Answer Key PDF file 2024 for further reference.

Steps to Challenge the JEE Main 2024 Answer Key

Any student who finds the answer inappropriate or thinks that the answer released by the NTA in their answer key is incorrect has the option of challenging the NTA. Check the procedure to challenge the JEE Main 2024 Answer Key below. 

Step 1: Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the link to ‘Challenge JEE Main 2024 provisional answer key’.

Step 3: Login to the portal using the JEE Main 2024 application number and password.

Step 4: The JEE Main Answer Key will contain the question ID as well as the ID with a correct option for both papers 1 and 2.

Step 5: In case of any errors in the answer key, raise the query by selecting one or more question IDs.

Step 6: Click on ‘Save your claim’ and click on Next.

Step 7: The challenged question ID will be displayed on the screen.

Step 8: Upload the necessary documents in support of the correct answer key.

Step 9: In the end, pay the required fee for challenging the answer key. 

How to Calculate JEE Main 2024 Score

To calculate the JEE Main 2024 score, follow the below-mentioned steps in order:

• Take out the Answer key and response sheet on your screen (follow the procedure mentioned above)
• Compare the answers on your response sheet by using the answer key
• Allott marks to each question according to the marking scheme
• Do the calculation
• Your score is ready

The answer key is essential for candidates since it helps students analyse their mistakes, rectify them, and understand what went wrong in the examination. It can also be later used by upcoming candidates to prepare for the exam.
