JEE Main B. Tech Exam Analysis 2024: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 is ongoing. The 2024 JEE Main Session 1 exam started on January 24, 2024, shift 2. The first exam was for B.   • Each Subject will have two sections. Section A will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Section B will contain Questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value.
  • In Section B, candidates have to attempt any 05 (five) questions out of 10. There will be negative marking for both Section A and Section B.
  • For each question in Section B, a candidate has to enter the correct integer value of the answer using the mouse and the on-screen virtual numeric keypad in the place designated to enter the answer. For Section B, the answer should be rounded off to the nearest integer.

JEE Main 2024 Paper 1 Overall Exam Analysis

Paper Analysis for JEE Main 2024 B.E./B. Tech (Paper 1) Shift 1

Mathematics: This section was more on the easier-to-moderate side, with some tricky numerical questions. In a nutshell, candidates handled this section well and are hoping for a better score.

Physics: Most students enjoyed this part of the paper and are hoping for a mark to uplift their score.

Chemistry: This part of the paper met the expectations of candidates in terms of question language and difficulty. A mixed response was observed to this.

Paper Analysis for JEE Main 2024 B.E./B. Tech (Paper 1) Shift 2

Mathematics: This part of the paper was as expected based on the shift 1 reviews. Candidates find it in the moderate to difficult category.

Physics:  This section was again challenging but was doable to some extent.

Chemistry: Many questions were formed from organic chemistry followed by physical chemistry. The section was easy to moderate.
