JEE Main 2024 B. Tech Paper 1 Answer Key: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 is over, and candidates are now eagerly waiting for the final answer key from the NTA. The JEE Main Exams Session 1 2024 were scheduled from January 24, 2024, to February 1, 2024. A total of six days were allocated for the exam in two different shifts. Shift 1 is from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; shift 2 is from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. For Paper 2, extra time was given (3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.).

* Each Subject will have two sections. Section A will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Section B will contain Questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value. In Section B, candidates have to attempt any 05 (five) questions out of 10. There will be negative marking for both Section A and Section B. For each question in Section B, a candidate has to enter the correct integer value of the answer using the mouse and the on-screen virtual numeric keypad in the place designated to enter the answer. For Section B, the answer should be rounded off to the nearest integer.

Steps to Download the NTA JEE Main Answer Key 2024

The provisional answer key for JEE Main 2024 is available for download on the NTA website for candidates who took the exam. To download the 2024 JEE Main Provisional Answer Key, follow the instructions below.:

Step 1: Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on JEE Main Provisional Answer Key 2024.

Step 3: Login to the portal using your JEE Main application number and date of birth.

Step 4: Click on the submit button.

Step 5: Click on the answer, and the JEE Main 2024 answer key with response sheet will be displayed.

Step 6: Download the NTA JEE Main Answer Key PDF file 2024 for further reference.

Steps to Challenge the JEE Main 2024 Answer Key

JEE Main candidates can challenge the provisional answer key through NTA. Candidates have the option to challenge any answers listed in the answer key that they believe to be incorrect. To challenge the NTA JEE Main Answer Key 2024, follow the instructions below.

Step 1: Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the link to ‘Challenge JEE Main 2024 provisional answer key’.

Step 3: Login to the portal using the JEE Main 2024 application number and password.

Step 4: The JEE Main Answer Key will contain the question ID as well as the ID with a correct option for both papers 1 and 2.

Step 5: In case of any errors in the answer key, raise the query by selecting one or more question IDs.

Step 6: Click on ‘Save your claim’ and click on Next.

Step 7: The challenged question ID will be displayed on the screen.

Step 8: Upload the necessary documents in support of the correct answer key.

Step 9: In the end, pay the required fee (Rs 200/Question) for challenging the answer key.
