Kumaun University released List of Test Centres for UGC NET 2012 December

Kumaun University on 18 December 2012 released list of test centres for the candidates who will be appearing for UGC National Eligibility Test. Candidates can acquire the venue address for the examination that will be held on 30 December 2012 as per their Roll number on its website.

The University had received 3390 applications from candidates for which 6 sub- centres were selected to successfully coordinate the examination for lectureship and the award of Junior Research Fellowship. A total of 1617 candidates are allotted to DSB Campus Kumaun University Nainital whereas more than 350 candidates will appear in the examination from Government Girls Inter College, Tallital. However, 366, 308, 446 and 292 applicants are allotted to Government Inter college Tallital, Chet Ram Sah Thulgaria Inter College, Mallital,  Bhartiya Shahid Sainik Vidyalaya, Mallital and Government Polytechnic College Mallital respectively for UGC NET December 2012.

Candidates must check and verify their Roll Number with utmost care in the list provided on the University’s website and note down the test venue allotted to them on their online admit cards. It is clearly notified in the guidelines of UGC that the Coordinating University will not send admit cards to the candidates individually at their corresponding address.

Candidates must bring their valid admit cards (system generated online admit card after filling the online application form for the examination) to the test centre on the day of exam. Moreover, candidates are advised to read and strictly follow the directions regarding UGC NET December 2012 uploaded on the official website of UGC.

Currently with three campuses at Almora, Nainital and Bhimtal, Kumaun University was established in 1973 and is added first time in the list of Coordinating Universities for UGC NET Examination.
