Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB) is a premier research institute in India inaugurated on 18 November 2002 by former President APJ Abdul Kalam in Kerala. It is an autonomous Institute under the Department of Biotechnology; Govt. of India. It invites applications from eligible candidates for the course mentioned below

Eligibility Conditions for Admission in RGCB

• Educational Qualification: Post graduation in Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences and Medicine graduates with 60% aggregate (First Class) and a valid research fellowship from UGC, CSIR, ICMR and DBT or eligibility to apply for INSPIRE

Note: Candidates with other fellowships are advised to contact the Dean to confirm eligibility AND Candidates without valid fellowships need not apply

• Age Limit (as on 1 June 2012): Maximum 28 years

Selection Procedure for Admission in RGCB

Selection of the candidates will be on the basis of their performance during the interview and Faculty interaction conducted by RGCB on 7 May 2011
