UGC NET 2024 Exam Date Rescheduled; Check Revised Date Here

NTA has revised the UGC NET June 2024 exam schedule, moving the August 26 exam to August 27 due to Shri Krishna Janmashtami. The National Testing Agency has announced a revised schedule for the UGC NET June 2024 exam. Due to Shri Krishna Janmashtami, the exam initially scheduled for August 26 has been moved to the following day, August 27. All other exam dates remain unchanged.

UGC NET 2024 exam will be conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format from August 21 to September 4 at various designated exam centers spread across the country. This national-level exam, held twice a year, determines the eligibility of candidates for Assistant Professor or both Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor posts in Indian universities and colleges. A total of 11,21,225 candidates had registered for the UGC NET June exam. Of these, 9,08,580 appeared for the exam conducted on June 18, which got cancelled due to concerns about its integrity.

UGC NET 2024 Exam Date Revised 

As per the schedule, UGC NET June 2024 will commence from August 21 onwards. It will be held for 83 subjects. The exam originally scheduled for August 26 has been postponed to August 27. This change means that the UGC NET exam for Philosophy and Hindi, which was to be held in the first shift, as well as the exams for Hindi, Oriya, Nepali, Manipuri, Assamese, and Santali, which were to be held in the second shift, will now take place on August 27.
