Final results have been declared for UPSC Engineering Services Exam 2016. Candidates who had appeared for it can now check their result here or else at the official portal of UPSC (upsc.gov.in).
Union Public Service Commission had conducted the personality test for Engineering Services Exam in September-November. Written test was held in May. Candidates who had appeared for the personality test can now check their result at upsc.gov.in.
A total of 604 candidates have been recommended by the Commission for appointment through Engineering Services Exam, against 676 vacancies. Details can be found below:

About UPSC ESE: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts Engineering Services Exam (ESE) every year. The examination is held to recruit candidates to the Services/ Posts under civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering disciplines.
UPSC invites application from candidates who have Degree in Engineering or passed Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India) or obtained a degree/diploma in Engineering from such foreign University/College/Institution and under such conditions as may be recognised by the Government for the purpose from time to time or passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India) or passed Associate Membership Examination Parts II and III/Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India or passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, London held after November, 1959.
