BPSC Judiciary Syllabus for Prelims

The BPSC Judiciary Prelims syllabus has two papers, General Studies and Law. The General Studies paper for BPSC Judiciary syllabus will be held for 100 marks and the Law paper will be conducted for 150 marks. As the Bihar Judiciary exam is based on Law, therefore, it shall have more weightage to the law papers that have been mentioned below.

BPSC Judiciary Main Syllabus

As per the BPSC Judiciary Mains syllabus, there will be a total of eight papers from the compulsory and optional paper category. 

BPSC Judiciary Syllabus - Compulsory Papers

The compulsory papers of the BPSC Bihar Judiciary syllabus are qualifying in nature, however, the candidates will have to get at least 33% marks in each paper. The five compulsory papers for the BPSC Judiciary syllabus for Mains are as follows: 

  1. General Knowledge / General Studies including Current Affairs – 150 marks 
  2. Elementary General Science – 100 marks 
  3. General Hindi – 100 marks 
  4. General English – 100 marks 
  5. Law of Evidence and Procedure – 150 marks

Five optional papers have been included in the BPSC Bihar Judicairy syllabus. Out of the fie papers, candidates are required to choose any of the three papers. These papers for the Bihar Judiciary Mains syllabus are as follows:
