JEMAT 2024 Exam Latest Updates
The JEMAT application window for JEMAT 2024 has closed. Candidates who applied were able to take the JEMAT exam for MBA and MHA courses. The Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal (MAKAUT, WB) conducts the JEMAT exam in multiple phases for admissions across West Bengal. What is JEMAT 2024 Exam?
The JEMAT (Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test) is a state-level entrance exam for MBA admissions in top B-Schools of West Bengal, conducted by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal (MAKAUT, WB). The exam consists of three sections: Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, and English, with a total of 100 multiple-choice questions. Candidates have one hour to complete the exam. To apply for JEMAT 2024, candidates need to register, download their admit card, appear for the exam, and participate in GD-PI rounds. Admission is based on JEMAT scores and performance in GD-PI, leading to the preparation of a merit list. JEMAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
If you don't meet all the JEMAT 2024 eligibility criteria, your application will be cancelled even if you have a good JEMAT score. Make sure you meet the following criteria before filling out the application form:
- You must have a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, or Architecture from a UGC or AICTE-recognized institute.
- Candidates from related fields are also eligible.
- Final year students can apply, but they must provide their final year mark sheet at the time of admission.
- There is no age limit for applying to JEMAT 2024.
- Degrees earned through distance education are not accepted.

JEMAT 2024 Exam Pattern
There are three sections in the JEMAT exam i.e. English, Mathematics, and Logical Reasoning.
- English and Mathematics section have a total of 40 questions each while the logical reasoning section comprises 20 questions.
- Each question is worth 1 mark.
- Every wrong response attracts a negative making of 0.25.
- The total duration of the examination is 2 hours.
