RRB Technician Eligibility Criteria 2024
The RRB Technician eligibility criteria is prescribed by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). Candidates who are going to apply online for RRB Technician 2024 recruitment should ensure that they fulfil the parameters that have been laid down by the RRB in the official notification. Railway exam aspirants are required to fulfil the age limit, educational qualification, nationality to be able to apply for the exam. RRB Technician Eligibility Age Limit
The age limit to apply for the RRB Technician exam 2024 varies for Gr 1 and 2 posts. The age limit for RRB Technician Gr 1 is 18 to 36 years while that for Gr 3, it is between 18 to 33 years. RRB has given an age relaxation of 3 years due to COVID 19 pandemic. Check the table below for further details:

Medical Standard for RRB Technician Exam
The candidates are required to be medically and physically fit to be able to apply for the RRB Technician exam 2024. The person should be of sound mind. Further, candidates who are availing the persons with disabilities facility should ensure to submit the requisite documents as when needed.
Candidates will need to pass the medical fitness standard test that shall be conducted by the RRB after the document verification process. The medical standard requirement according to the Railways is specified in the table below.

> The candidates must hold Indian citizenship.
> If the candidate hails from Nepal or Bhutan, they must possess a Certificate of Eligibility granted by the Government of India.
> Tibetan refugees who entered India prior to January 1962 are also considered eligible.
> Individuals of Indian origin who have relocated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and the East African nations of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam, with the intention of permanent settlement in India, are also deemed eligible.
Number of Attempts for RRB Technician Exam
The candidates can apply as many times as they want for the RRB Technician exam provided they fulfil the age limit. There is no restriction on the number of times one can apply for the exam.
