RRB Group D Age Limit: Upper and Lower Age Limit
RRB has revised the age limit to apply for th RRB Group D exam from this year onwards. The RRB Group D age limit for Level 1 posts is 18 to 36 years. Candidates who are from the reserved categories can avail of relaxations in the upper age limit, i.e., 36 years as per the rules prescribed by the RRBs as given below. The age limit has been increased to 3 years to provide relief to the candidates who missed the opportunity to participate in the recruitment due to COVID-19 pandemic.

RRB Group D Educational Qualification
The RRB Group D Eligibility requirements state that the applicants must have passed class10th pass and completed either of the following:
- 10th pass or ITI or equivalent qualification
- National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT
RRB Group D Nationality/Citizenship
As per the RRB Group D eligibility, a candidate must be either:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A subject of Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Note- The candidates belonging to categories (b), (c), (d), and (e) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
What is the Medical Standard for RRB Group D Exam 2025?
Candidates who will be called for DV will have to pass requisite medical fitness test(s) conducted by the Railway Administration to ensure that the candidates are medically fit to carry out the duties connected with the post(s) opted by them.
