Delhi CET Application Form 2020: The Directorate of Training and Technical Education will release the Delhi CET 2020 application form after 3rd May 2020. According to the notification on the official website, the Delhi CET 2020 application form will be released only after the lockdown is lifted. The COVID-19 lockdown which was initially scheduled to end on 14th April 2020 has now been extended until 3rd May. Candidates who are interested in filling up the application form for the Delhi Common Entrance test can do so after the same.
Earlier, the DTTE had announced that it would be releasing the Delhi CET application form 2020 online after 17th April 2020. However, with the Government of India announcing the second phase of COVID-19 lockdown, the release of Delhi CET 2020 application has further been postponed. Apart from Delhi CET 2020, many other national entrance exams such as NEET UG and JEE Main 2020 have also been postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic crisis.
The Department of Training and Technical Education, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi conducts the Delhi CET exams for candidates who wish to pursue various Full-time Diploma programmes (Engineering and non-Engineering courses) offered at Institutes affiliated to the Board of Technical Education (BTE). Delhi CET 2020 will be conducted in the offline mode as a pen-and-paper based test. The Delhi CET 2020 exam is of 2 hours and 30 minutes duration. Candidates will be required to attempt a total of 150 questions in Delhi CET 2020. The question paper of the common entrance test will be objective type in nature and each question will be of 4 marks each. The maximum marks in Delhi CET 2020 is 600.
In order to appear for Delhi CET 2020 candidates are required to have either passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics/Biology (Botany and Zoology) or 10+2 Science (with Mathematics as one of the subjects) or 10+2 Science with Technical Vocational or10th + ITI (2 years) in analogous trade.
