ICAI CA November Exam 2020: Exam Centres changes in few cities for December 1 exams

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has announced that the students appearing for the CA exams in November in Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Lucknow exam centres on December 1, 2020 will be changed. Check details here.

ICAI Exam Centre: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has announced that the students appearing for the CA exams in November in Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Lucknow will be moved to new examination centres due to the elections scheduled to be held on December 1, 2020.

According to the notification available on the official website, the students appearing for the exams in 15 centres of the three cities will have to appear for the exams in the changed venues on December 1, 2020, while the remaining papers will be conducted in the existing exam centres.

According to the details provided on the official notification, the admit cards issued for the CA November 2020 examinations will be valid for the new venue as well. The notification released also lists the examination centres which have been changed for December 1, 2020. Candidates appearing for the examination can visit the website to check the complete list of examination centres. 

ICAI CA Exams Rescheduled earlier

The ICAI had earlier rescheduled the intermediate and IPC examinations in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry due to Cyclone Nivar and the disruption of normal life in the cities. The examinations were earlier postponed and commenced in November following the guidelines issued by the COVID-19 pandemic as precautionary measures.

Candidates were also allowed to opt-out from the November 2020 examinations and appear for the upcoming schedule of the examinations. According to a recent notification, the second cycle of the exams will be conducted in January 2021.
