IIT JAM 2020 Schedule Released: JAM 2010 Entrance Exam Schedule has been released by the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. IIT Kanpur has released the detailed exam notification for Joint Admission Test 2020 through which candidates are screened for admission to Master’s Degree Programmes at IITs and IISc. Important Dates

As per the official notification, IIT JAM 2020 will be held on 9^th February 2020. The application process for JAM Exam will commence on 5^th September 2019 and continue until 8^th October 2019 until 5:30 PM. The JAM Result 2020 will be announced on 20^th March 2020. Application process for admission to M.Sc programmes offered by IITs and IISc will be held from 9^th April 2020 to 22^nd April 2020.

Key Changes

Among the major changes announced for JAM 2020, the key one is regarding cancellation of one paper for the examination. This means that IIT JAM Exam will be held only for 6 subjects as the paper for Biological Science has been discontinued.

Exam Sessions

The official notification has also confirmed the exam sessions for different papers of IIT JAM 2020 Exam. JAM 2020 exam will be held in two sessions i.e. morning session starting at 9:30 AM and concluding at 12:30 PM while the afternoon session will commence at 2:30 PM and continue until 5:30 PM. In the morning session exam would be held for biotechnology, physics, and mathematical statistics papers, while the exam for mathematics, chemistry, and geology will be held in the afternoon shift.
