JEE Main 2020 - NDA Exams Clash: HRD Minister assures students, directs NTA To avoid Clash of Both Exams

JEE Main 2020 – NDA Exam 2020 Clash: Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ today addressed a concern of JEE Main 2020 and NDA 2020 exam aspirants about both the exams falling on the same date i.e. 6th September 2020. Assuring students, the HRD Minister said that he has asked NTA i.e. National Testing Agency to take corrective steps to avoid the clash of both the exams, as they are important for students. NTA is the exam conducting authority for the national level engineering entrance exam i.e. JEE Main 2020. JEE Main 2020 exam is scheduled to be held on 6^th September 2020, the same day on which UPSC has decided to hold its NDA Exam 2020. However, now, following the intervention of HRD Minister, it is likely that NTA will take corrective steps to ensure that the two exams don't clash for candidates appearing in both the exams.

HRD Minister Assures Students via Tweet

Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ took to twitter today afternoon, to address the issue that has brought to his attention by several students and their parents, who have applied and will be appearing for the both exams i.e. JEE Main 2020 and NDA 2020. In his tweet he said that he has received representations from students and parents and in line with that directed NTA to take measures to avoid the clash of both the exam.

Common NDA Exam for Admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy.

For 2020 session, the Union Public Service Commission i.e. the UPSC will be holding a common exam to screen candidates seeking admission to both National Defence Academy and Naval Academy. Candidates seeking admission to these two military training schools will be admitted on the basis of their performance in the NDA 2020 entrance exam, which is scheduled on 6^th September. JEE Main 2020 Postponed due to COVID-19

On the other hand JEE Main 2020 i.e. national level engineering entrance test, he also been postponed twice and is now scheduled to be held on 6^th September 2020. But, now looking at the directions given by HRD Minister to NTA about avoiding clash of JEE Main and NTA exam, aspirants will have to wait and watch to see if the apex testing agency decides to postpone JEE Main 2020 exam further.
