SEBA HSLC Result 2021: As per the updates, the Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) has released the result of Assam class 10th 2021 today in online mode. Students can check their SEBA 10th result 2021 at sebaonlinne.org. Students can check their results by entering the required credentials. This year, SEBA Board had cancelled the exams for class 10th due to the second wave of COVID-19 cases in the state. While announcing the cancellation of exams, the board decided to follow the alternative evaluation method for preparing the Assam HSLC results for this year. 

As per the data released by the SEBA board, a total of 438828 candidates registered for the Assam 10th board. Out of which 197565 are boys and 228988 are girls. Also, the total number of schools under SEBA is 7301.

The Assam government announced the evaluation criteria for the students of class 10. Education minister Ranoj Pegu made the announcement that the evaluation of students for class 10th will be based on records of internal assessment and previous exams. The two committees constituted by the Assam State Government to formulate SEBA 10th evaluation criteria submitted this criterion which got approval from the Advocate General.

For the students in class 10 board exams, 40 percent of their marks will be based on their performance in class 9 whereas 40 percent of marks will be based on the assessment of their performance in class 10th. The remaining 20% will be from school-based internal assessment. In schools where class 10 pre-board exams were not held, 70% of marks from class 9 will be used for evaluation and the rest 30% will be given by their schools based on the previous record of attendance, class tests, etc.
