West Bengal Evaluation Criteria 2021: As per the latest update, the West Bengal Board has announced the WB Madhyamik and HS board result evaluation criteria today. Students can check the evaluation criteria on the official website - wbchse.nic.in. Earlier, on Thursday, while addressing the media, chief minister Mamata Banerjee said that the results will be announced by end of July 2021 in online mode.
On 7th June, the West Bengal government cancelled the Madhyamik and HS board examinations due to COVID-19. Since then, students were eagerly waiting for the West Bengal Board result 2021 evaluation criteria. The CM had directed the education department to decide on the evaluation process keeping in mind the possible mental stress and the future of the examinees.
West Bengal Class 12/HS Evaluation Criteria 2021
As per the released marking scheme for class 12th, the students will be assessed on the following - 40% weightage will be given to the average score in the best four subjects in class 10th Madhyamik exam in 2019 and 60% weightage to the annual class 11 theory exam in 2020. Also, the class 12 project or practical will be marked separately. As per the notification, students will be marked out of 20 for non-lab-based subjects and out of 30 for lab-based subjects.
West Bengal Class 10/Madhyamik Evaluation Criteria 2021
As per the reports, the class 10 students will be assessed based on the 50:50 formula, which includes 50 marks of class 9 average marks and 50 marks for class 10 formative assessment. The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education has also asked schools to submit the Class 10 Madhyamik scores by 23rd June since that exam is conducted by a different board.

As per the latest updates, the result will be prepared as per the evaluation criteria released by the board. The board will release WBBSE and WBCHSE results 2021 by the end of July. HS WB board result 2021 will be published online on wbresults.nic.in. Also, as per the official notice, "If any student is unhappy with the result, they will get the opportunity to appear for an written exam in the future and the result of that exam will be considered final." The detailed information will be released after the declaration of result.
