CBSE Class 10, 12 Term 2 Practical Exams 2022: Notice Clarifying Exam Time Duration Released! Check Details

Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has released a notice regarding the timings and duration of class 10, 12 practical exams in CBSE Term 2 Exams 2022. CBSE Board is expected to announce the CBSE Term 1 Results within a day or two on the official website cbseresults.nic.in., cbse.gov.in.

CBSE Class 10, 12 Term 2 Exams: Practical Time Duration Notice

Check the Notice and its details below regarding the CBSE Practical exams that have begun from March 2, 2022. The notice reads, 

" It has come to the notice of the Board that in Term 2 Practical Examinations, in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology etc two practicals are to be performed in 1.5 hours duration. It is clarified that the time period for the conduct of two practicals in Term II examinations is 3 hours.

This means that the duration for the practicals must be of three hours as clarified by the Board in its latest notice. 

The Practical Exams hold marks to be added to the theory exam marks to make a total mark list for the students appearing in the CBSE Term 2 Exams 2022. The students are taking the practicals extremely seriously. 

Earlier CBSE had released guidelines for the practical exams to take place which is to be followed by every school. Particularly all the Covid norms are to be followed without any fail in schools during the practicals. 

The notice also directs the schools to relieve the teachers involved in the practical exams as per the date fixed by the schools for the conduct of practical exams. The Board has warned that it would take the non-relieving very seriously if not done. 

CBSE Class 10, 12 Term 2 Exams: Other Updates

CBSE Board is expected to announce the Term 1 Results soon now as it is being awaited since January end 2022. The Term 2 exams would begin from April 26, 2022, which is why now it has been high time for the Term 1 Results to be released. 

The students were expecting the results of both terms to be released together even but CBSE has clarified that this would not be the case. 

Moreover, the complete CBSE Date Sheet for Term 2 exams for Class 10 and 12 is expected to be out before or by March 26, 2022 now.
